Nestled within the Poplars Precinct will be the region’s first comprehensive high school for Years 7 to 12. Set to be focused on creating our next generation of leaders the school is due for completion in 2023. The Learning Precinct is also the proposed home to Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council’s Innovation Hub, a place for the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

The grasslands are protected under NSW Government’s Biodiversity Stewardship Agreements, with permanent protection granted to preserve an important concentration of the endangered Button Wrinklewort plant.
